Contacts and Business Units are the cornerstone of your customer data management. Super-Tracker allows you to differentiate between a company and a person, and associate a person with a company as an employee.

Both Business Units and Contacts can be customers.

Users for your company can be created using the "Create  New User" link on "Users & Logins" under the "Admin  Control Panel", 

Inaddition existing Contacts within the system  may also be converted into Users.

Create a new Contact

1. Click on "Main Control Panel" tab, and click on "Contacts" module.
2. Click on the "New Contact" link above the contacts switchable report.
   
3. Enter the contact details into the fields on the Contact Data Entry screen, additional personal and customer data can be entered by clicking the "Misc" tab.
4. Click the [OK] or [Apply] buttons to save the Contact record.
5. The Contact Summary Screen will open and display the entered data, which allow you to create activities and sales cycle records and attach documents related to the Contact.

Create a new Business Unit

1. Click on "Main Control Panel" tab, and click on "Business Units" module.
2. Click on the "New Business Unit" link above the Business Unit switchable report.
3. Enter the Business Unit details into the fields on the Business Unit Data Entry screen, data can be entered by clicking the "Advanced' tab".
4. Click the [OK] button to save the Business Unit record.
5. The Business Unit Summary Screen will open and display the entered data, which allow you to create activities and sales cycle records and attach documents related to the Business Unit.
