The Financials module is used for the recording of payments received from Customers and the tracking of invoices such as invoices due within a certain time frame, and Over Due invoices.

Data can be exported for use in your accounting package such as MYOB.

Recording a Payment

• Click on the "Financials Module" under the "Main Control" tab.
  
• Click the "New Payment" link in the Invoices/Payments report title bar
• Select the Account in which payment is deducted from the Account drop down
  
• User the lookup field "Search" to find the customer making the payment
• The screen should now automatically refresh, and a list of invoices should be displayed for the selected Customer.

• Enter the payment Amount(s) Received and Amount(s) Applied into the fields next to the relevant invoice(s)
• Click the [OK] or [Apply] button to save the Payment.
