ST Email sends, receives and tracks email correspondence to and from users of the system. Email can be sent to any contact, or group of contacts that are entered into the database.

Send an Email to a contact

• Find the contact you wish to send an email to using the Quick or Advanced Search tools located under "Quick Start" or "Contacts" modules.
  
• Either click the [Email] button at the top of the search results screen or open the Contact Summary Screen by clicking the View link next to the contact in the Search Results Report

• If you are in the Contact Summary Screen, click on the [Email Contact] Button in the toolbar at the top of the Summary Screen
• The Email Screen will open in a new window
• Select the Account you want to send the email from.
• Use the check boxes to send a copy of the email to yourself and to create an email task for each recipient
• Enter the Subject of the email
• Either enter the body of the email into the Body Field, or select a template using the Template Pick List
• Add Attachments to the email by clicking the Local Document or System Document Icons above the Attachments Portal.
• Finally click the [Send] Button to send the email
