A Job can be escalated from an accepted quote or created as required.

The job screens allow you to record all necessary information about the job, and the summary screen provides the tools for recording, assigning and scheduling related Tasks/Events, adding Materials, creating Invoices and also adding Notes and Attachments.

Jobs are charged using chargeable Tasks/Events and Materials.

Multiple Invoices can be created for a particular Job.

When a new invoice is created, it will include all completed chargeable Tasks/Events and Materials not already charged for at that point.

Note: The status of the invoice must equal "Processed" in order for chargeable Materials/ Labour to be appear on the invoice balance.

Furthermore, when a Quote is upgraded to a job all labour items will be converted to Tasks and assigned to the designated person.

Creating a new Job

• Click the "New Job" link at the top of the screen, under the "Main Control Panel" tab.
  
• Enter the Job details into the fields on the data entry screen
• Click the [OK] button to save the Job.
• The Job Summary Screen will open and display the entered data, it will allow you to create Tasks/Events as well as  adding Materials, create Invoices and attach notes and documents related to the Job

Creating a chargable Task for a Job

• Click on the New Task link above the Tasks portal on the Job Summary Screen
• Enter the Task details, assign and schedule the Task using the fields on the data entry screen
• Click the "Billing" tab and check the "Chargable" tick box to display the Billing information
• Select a standard rate from the pick list or enter the charge details into the "Charge Rate" field.
• Click the [OK] button to save the Task, the task will now be associate it with the Job
