The Quote data entry screen will allow you to:

• Accurately create a quote
  
• Associate it with a client
  
• Add materials and labour Create a price
  

Within the Quote Summary Screen, Tasks/Events can be created, as well as scheduled and assigned to contacts.

Notes and Attachments may also be attached. Furthermore Quotes can be upgraded to Jobs by clicking the "Convert Quote/Find Existing Job" link on the Quote Summary Screen.

Create a new Sales Quote

• Click on the New Quote link at the top of the screen, under the "Main Control Panel" tab.
  
• Enter the quote details into the fields on the data entry screen
• Click the [OK] button to save the Quote
• The Quote Summary Screen will open and display the entered data, allow you to add Materials and Labour, create Tasks/Events and attach notes and documents related to the Quote

Add Materials

• Click the Add Materials link above the Materials and Labour portal on the Quote Summary Screen
• Select the materials from the product pick list, or create new materials by clicking the new link
• Enter the quantity of the material required
• Click the [OK] button to add the materials to the Quote

Add Labour

• Click the Add Labour link above the Materials and Labour portal on the Quote Summary Screen
• Enter the labour details in the data entry fields
• Use the pick lists to assign the labour to a particular person, select standard rates and time increments
• Click the [OK] button to add the labour to the quote.
